Each year, Citizens for Sustainability hosts or shares Earth Week events in and around St. Anthony Village. Whether you’re cleaning up, donating, learning, or just enjoying a pancake breakfast, there’s something for everyone to get involved and make a positive impact!

Neighborhood Clean Up: pick up litter all around the city
April 19
1:00–3:00pm: Earth Day Clothing Swap @ Silverwood Park
Hosted by Silverwood Park and St. Anthony Community Services.
♻ Sign up and bring clean, gently used clothing to swap with others. Leave with a fresh look — for free!
April 20
Adopt-a-Drain
Adopt-a-Drain in your neighborhood
4:00–7:00pm: Water Conservation & Education Fair @ City Hall
Discover fun, easy ways to conserve water, explore community initiatives that protect and sustain our water resources, and learn about pollinator-friendly gardens and native plantings. Plus, enter for a chance to win a rain barrel! This is a family-friendly event!
April 21
6:00–7:00pm: Climate Trivia @ Five Hole Sports Bar & Grill
5–6pm | Litter cleanup along railroad
6–7pm | Family friendly climate trivia & prizes
7–9pm | Test your music knowledge

April 22 (Earth Day)
2:30–4:00pm: SAMS School Yard Cleanup
Pick up litter with SAMS students
5:30–7:00pm: Ditch Cleanup Along County E @ Silverwood Park entrance
Pick up litter with local Cub Scout Pack 3153 and Scouting America Troop 3153
April 25
10:00am–Noon: St. Anthony Parks Cleanup
Join Citizens for Sustainability and Parks and Environmental Commission members with support from St. Anthony Public Works:
Central Park – Meet outside the pavilion
Emerald Park – Meet outside the pavilion
Salo Park – Hosted by the Silver Lake Condo Association
Silver Point Park – Meet by the park entrance sign
Trillium Park (includes light gardening) – Meet in the cul-de-sac north of the park, co-hosted by Village Gardeners
Water Tower Park – Meet inside the park entrance along 33rd Ave
10:00am–Noon: Silver Lake Cleanup
Meet at Silver Lane & Silver Lake Terrace
April 26
7:00am–Noon: NE Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast @ 1700 2nd St NE

4:00–7:00pm: Fix-it Hub @ St. Anthony Library
Work with a friendly, skilled volunteer to try to fix your broken household stuff, gain confidence and new repair skills, and incorporate sustainability into your life. Free, no pre-registration.
